Made with sustainability in mind

Blur the lines of what's possible on a directional board with your new best friend, the Montano. Tackle any conditions with confidence —from hot laps around your favorite trails to deep powder stashes in the trees — the Montano unleashes your full riding potential.

The surf-inspired shape is boosted by two layers of ultra-dense carbon fiberglass, directional hybrid camber, and a speed-hungry sintered base that will leave you wanting more as it devours everything the mountain has to offer.

Our boards are built to last and come with a 4-year warranty. That's one year longer than the industry standard.

Materials

Core: Poplar and Balsa

Our upgraded wood core increases responsiveness and reduces overall weight for a tech driven powder machine.

Base: Sintered Base

For boards that go holy sh*t fast—our sintered bases utilize a higher molecular weight to increase durability and wax absorption.

Fiberglass Top: Dura-LT Carbon Fiberglass

We’ve reduced 170g and improved our ride with Dura-LT Carbon. An ultra light 45° densly woven fiberglass with carbon inserts to provide a smoother ride with less weight under foot.

Fiberglass Bottom: Carbon X45 Fiberglass

To elevate the Montano's ability to cut through any conditions we invested in a high performance tri-axial fiberglass with 45° carbon inserts, allowing for an additional level of power and snap while reducing the overall weight.

An upgraded resin provides an enhanced performance while being sourced from plant based materials.

Sidewalls: Thermoplastic ABS

Increased dampening support with a high impact resistance all from a material that is recyclable.

Printing: Water Based Inks

You bout ta gobble up da knowledge concerin Montano

Montano be like, folla tha nose cause tha nose knows where ta go, so point it, shoot it, rip it, flip it and rub it down! In other words, the Montano easily outperforms all realistic notions that I managed to squeeze from my brainstem through the cerebral cortex and yes I do dare say my cerebellum. Imagine synopses firing from dendrites wildly out of control, scattering copious amounts of dopamine filling every receptor, making the mountain and Montano one; if only for a brief heavenly moment when we shared time. I wouldn't be surprised if baby mountains are coming soon After experiencing how Montano caressed said mountain's curvy slopes! In other, other words, the Montano is excellent!

    Needs work

For the width it transitions well. My main complaint is the nose has too much flex. This board tossed me multiple times when the nose bananas into a mogul or steep gully. Overall I’m unhappy with it for that reason only. Otherwise it’s a good board. It floats well and holds the edge nicely. Just needs the nose stiffened.

    Favorite Board ever

For all mtn carving and powder days this is it. I love being able to have one go to board for the season and this is it. Im 6ft and wear an 11 boot and ride the 155 and its a dream. It's a bit wider than a typical board so you have the option to size down if you want!

    What a stick!

I've given the Montano 3 days in our early-season Aussie conditions over here and I'm pleasantly surprised!

It rails carves, is super poppy, wicked on side hits and fun to press on! It is also really stable at speed when you straight-line it so I think this could be my daily moving forward! I haven't had a chance to ride it in pow yet but if this is the dedicated pow board and it is as good as it is at everything else, I can only imagine how well it will go. I've ridden and love the Orca for Japan tree runs due to its ability to change direction super quickly and my only gripe with it is the C2X being skiddy when carving on hardpack. The Montano feels like everything I wish the Orca were and then some!
